Persia Walker is the author of the award-winning HARLEM REDUX and DARKNESS & THE DEVIL BEHIND ME, mysteries set in the 1920s. Her short story "Such a Lucky, Pretty Girl" appeared in the THE BLUE RELIGION: STORIES ABOUT THE COPS, CRIMINALS, AND THE CHASE, an anthology edited by Michael Connelly. She is a former news writer for The Associated Press and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Inc., (RFE). She has worked as a freelance book editor, and done cultural reporting and voice work for European publications.
