Yolanda is by far the youngest executive at her father's bank. She is the lone female on a board of elderly men and feels she must work twice as hard to prove to her father that she was 'one of the boys'. But in her zeal to prove her worth, she falls in love with a client she never met and one whose loan she must foreclose in order to close an important sale that involved loan portfolios. Unable to get the client to speak about the loan, Yulanda drives to his farm to handle it personally. Met with the most handsome man she has ever seen and convinced that she is indeed in love, Yulanda lies about who she is and takes it upon herself to pay off the loan for a man who comes with much more baggage that she can handle and in the process, earned the wrath of her father and the ridicule of the whole banking industry in Jamaica. Yulanda must then face her weakness and the possibility that this is not the man for her. She escapes to Barbados where she spends time with her brother and attempts to regain control of her life.
