But dreams and aspirations sometimes have a habit of going awry as the book then takes a turn and allows you to live her experiences of finding and losing love, of reckless decisions, of joys and then utter lows as she discovers that life can inevitably throw things in your direction which cause you to stumble and fall and seriously impact your outlook on life and change it in a most profound way. But she manages to find the strength and the courage to get back up and resume her life, even though it seemed that the Universe had take away a piece of her soul and what had been so very precious in her life and those very same life experiences almost brought her to the fringes of desperation.

Alexandra Voulgari was born on the island of Samos in Greece and migrated to Australia along with her parents and elder brother when Australia opened its doors to welcome Greek immigrants in the 1950's and 1960's. Although Australia is now her adopted country, she still has a deep afffection for the country of her birth and ensures that she takes every opportunity to visit often. Greek music, good Greek food and writing are her passions and she eventually hopes to publish a book on Traditional and Greek Sweets to enable her to add one of her own cookbooks to her ridiculously large collection of cookbooks.
