1- Sahreed,, means: "Homeless"
About a married guy who lives closed up in a complete selfishness which lost him everything;
his wife & his job, and when his car stopped running out of gas beside a trash pan he feels he
hit the rock bottom, but that actually got him to see a homeless guy wearing nothing and eating
form the trash, he makes a quick comparison between their situations and starts to open his
eyes and his heart to the world around him, he spends the whole week trying to help homeless
people and suddenly all his own problems start to resolve..
2- Allahn Alhazeen,, means: “Bluesy Tune”
About a college girl who’s like a supermom to everyone, all astonished by her tendency to help
and get nothing in return, everybody wanted to search for the catch behind that but days prove
them all wrong, and a mysterious story about a lost love slightly appears to only one guy who
starts to understand that her motive is purely love.
3- Alentezar,, means: “Awaiting”
A little girl who loses her whole family in a booming on her village, and gets out of her grief to
give her life for her country’s cause until she dies for her cause, but only after she dies she finds
out that her life has just started.
4- Resalet hob,, means: “A Message of Love”
A young doctor who is originally form (Tanta; a small town in Egypt) but graduated and lives
alone in Alexandria (which is a big city), he is very clever and enthusiastic with huge dreams, he
finds out that his lifer has been cut short by a lethal tumor in his lungs, all his dreams fall apart
but that made him remember his childhood dreams to become a published writer one day, he
hides the truth about his illness from everybody and takes out his hidden writings and went to all
the publishers in the country to help him with no luck at all, all afraid to risk with a new unknown
writer! In a desperate move he goes to his home town carrying a file full of stories in his hands
to sell an old house he inherited from his parents, but his uncle (his mother’s brother) who is coowns
that house refuses to let him sell it until he get married (which will never happen), in a
coincidence his cousin sees his stories and insists to read them, the cousin loves the stories
and after a few days he surprises him with a visit to his apartment in Alex and proposes to help
him to self-publish and becomes his partner. Under the name: “A message of love” he publishes
his first book which becomes the biggest hit in the decade but only when he’s in the death bed,
his cousins goes to visit him shivering in a complete shock, but he gives him a CD full of all his
writings and asks him to continue publishing and to use his royalties as a grant to support new
writers who write to spread love through their writings.
5- Athaman,, means: “The Price”
A professor who tries to use all his powers and other dirty means to influence the affection of a
girl student of his, but her colleague defeats him only by his pure love to her and gets to marry
her while the professor’s hatred leads him to the lowest roads with no return.
6- Maw’edona ektemal alqamar,, means: “Full Moon Date”
Two girlfriends living apart in different countries, one of them had an accident and gets so near
to death, her strong love to her friend gives her extra sensory powers and in an unbelievable

scene her spirit breaks all physical laws and goes to visit her friend at her home in a full moon
night just to say goodbye a few minutes before she dies, leaving her love surrounding her friend
forever.
7- Samraa,, a girl’s name which means: “Burnet”
Two village girls are friends since forever, one of them is serious and responsible while the
other (the pretty one) is so irresponsible naughty, the good girl is continuously trying to set her
friend right and her friend continuously refuses to listen to her until she leaves her and go on
with her life, the naughty girl loses her chance for happiness when she follows illusions she
called once (love) but realizes how far they are form it, and they meet again in her father’s
funeral, when the good girl realizes how (bad) she was to leave her friend even if she asked her
to, and decides to help her through to get another chance.
8- Malek Matrooh,, means: “King of Matrooh”
Two newly weds go to a touristic village hotel outside Matrooh; a beautiful small beach town in
Egypt for their honeymoon, they find a mysterious negro man who is a bus driver from their
hotel to the town, quiet and peaceful, keeps surprising them by knowing everybody locals and
tourists, they all know him and love him so much, every where he goes hands always gets up in
enthusiastic greetings, they get so curious trying to know why is he that popular, but when they
get in a trouble and found him changing his way, going more than 60 extra miles just to rescue
them asking for nothing in return, they understand why he is King of Matrooh.
9- Almandoob,, means: “The Salesman”
An Egyptian man travels to work in the Gulf for money, find himself a salesman for a big
company sells a product he knows well to be not worthy of its huge price, he tries not to think
and keeps working but with days go on his soul gets tiered of lying, he feels miserable but
keeps going to work just for money, until he meets one customer of his same home town who
treats him with love, tap his shoulder and smiles kindly, suddenly he sees his whole family in
that man’s face, and something burns in his heart, and he opens his eyes wide.. Impulsively he
rushes to his boss’s office and quits to do something he believes in for a change.
10- Shaykhoukha,, means: “Senility”
An old man (Ma’moun) comes out of his son’s funeral (Hamza) shaking and shivering of shock
and grief, the both lives run before his eyes (his son’s and his) he has never approved his son’s
way of life telling him how unwise he is, Hamza chose to live enthusiastically, he was ambitious
and impulsive, he lived for others more than himself and took risks to help people, while
Ma’moun was very careful, closed to himself and took the safest roads, but as he saw Hamza’s
smile of satisfaction on his death bed, and the hundreds of people who loved and admired
Hamza in the funeral, Ma’moun suddenly felt so old and started questioning his whole life, in an
impulse he decided to do something to make him feel as alive as Hamza, he entered the old
café he used to sit in with no goal, but when he saw the poor young waiter he decided to help
him and that was the first time he felt his life ever counts.
11- Ana wahowa walherrato assamraa,, means: “Me, him, and the black Cat”
(Note: Sohour is the usual late night meal in Ramadan; Muslim’s holy month of fasting,
once the dawn is out fasting person should stop eating or drinking until the sunset)
A young man home alone having his Sohour near his window while watching people in the small
street he lives in having their Sohour in that small restaurant, and the barb-Q fumes rising from
the restaurant’s chimney filling the air with a delicious smell which attracted a poor homeless
guy to hesitatingly approach the place, Mr. Hassan, the owner felt sorry for the poor man and
fixed him a sandwich, the man takes it happily and goes to eat it nearby when a little clack cat
comes out of no where and starts to meow begging for a piece, she seemed so hungry so he
feels sorry for her and shares with her his sandwich, but it was small and not enough for them
both, they both still very hungry, meanwhile the young man near the window lost all appetite
while watching that scene, and without thinking he runs out in his Pajamas to take all of his food
to that poor man but he doesn’t find him, he looks around with no luck and come back
disappointingly to find the small cat still meowing in hunger, he smiles and opens package of
food for her and watch her gladly eating and looking at him gratefully, the dawn comes up and
he had no chance to eat, but he felt stuffed, now he understands why the homeless guy has left!
12- Mahattaat atteram,, means (Tram Stations)
She got out of the college where she works, a single maiden over thirty who is engaged to be
married to someone she hates and is not even kind as she wanted just because she has to get
married before she spends the rest of her life alone, her father chose this one for her because
he looks more successful and rich while she wanted another guy who’s less fortunate, widower
and have 4 children but he’s much kinder and have a lot of love to give. She gets into the tram
to go home but sees a pregnant woman about to fall off when her husband rushes to rescue her
giving her a lovely smile, she starts to question her decision all through the different stations,
people come and go and she’s just a prisoner of that trailer, expected to get off in one predestined
station (and also expected to take a pre-designed decision by her family and by the
community), her thoughts evolve and she decides to revolt, not to get off in that station, in stead
she goes to where her fiancé is working and breaks up with him.
13- Ahlaam Alyaqaza,, means (Daydreams)
She’s a normal average college girl with lots of locked feelings and unsettled thoughts about
herself, her family and life chances. Looking to life in sort of dark way her life doesn’t move
forward, but once she starts to love herself and love life she finds everything she dreamt of at
last, her uncertainty dissolves and things starts to change once she changes her way of looking
at them.
14- Albellawra azarqaa’,, means: “Blue Crystal”
Life with her husband starting to be unbearable, problems every where for no good reason,
somehow their old love is fading but they are still together, she goes with him to get their
children from his family’s house in Alfayoum when the car stops breaking down in the countryside
way, he calls his family to come and get them and they (he and his wife) start another fight
but stop when the place seems familiar, as if they’re hypnotized they walk into that small private
road throughout the farms, everything get more familiar until they reach an old abandoned
house and she suddenly remembers, it was a governmental building where her grandfather
used to work and live (he was an inspector in the ministry of agriculture) she came here a lot
when she was young, she got her husband’s hand enthusiastically to show him around but she
fell and hurt her leg, he got so worried and came closer to her while lying down, she felt
peaceful and warm and said that she wanted to show him her treasure.. he suddenly remembers why the place is familiar to him too, while he was with a school trip going back to
Alfayoum (his town) the bus breaks down and the teachers had to take the kids to that governmental building as a safe place until they fix the bus, he met the inspector’s granddaughter who was a lot younger than him but loved him right away and took him to show him “her treasure”, it was a collection of colorful crystals, he liked the blue one so she gave it to him generously, with a shaking hand he reaches to his pocket to get his key-chain, and there it is; the blue crystal she gave him over thirty years ago! She feels speechless and shocked and they stare at each other for a while before he smiles and take her back to their car to have some breakfast waiting for the coming help.
