The Long Headed Soldier is the biography of the late Edger 'Jimmy' Wilds. He was a WW2 Army dispatch rider who spent 5 years in Egypt attached to the British Naval Headquarters in Alexandria where he delivered messages to such men as the King and the first two men to become the presidents of Egypt. He was posted back to the UK in 1944 where he became Churchill's dispatch rider and delivered messages to King George VI amongst many other prominant men.
