Stormy Brooks is back in action only this time he's supposed to be relaxing. The tough cop from Crystal City decides to travel south to recuperate from injuries suffered in Triple Option only to discover that one of his friends from college has been involved in a mysterious accident. One thing leads to another and now Stormy thinks that the accident is linked to Joe Kenney's disappearance. Stormy will have to endure physical and mental pain as well as overcome demons that have plagued him for twenty years to solve this case. Along the way he finds out some things that he wishes would have remained in the dark.
